Los Angeles, CA.

Frank Sanders, a.k.a. “The Iceman,” had been serving a six-month parole (after release from St. Elmo Penitentiary) when federal agents discovered that, for the past four or five months, he had been impersonating John Mark Karr, the alleged murderer of Jon Benet Ramsay. Sanders had reportedly abandoned his temporary residence in Reno, NV. to substitute-teach several of Karr’s classes while he was away in Thailand. Sanders claims to have played the role because of his admiration for Karr’s “low profile and inconspicuous appearance.”
